I’m the Dep (stand in) drummer for Julian Chambers who is Raleigh Ritchie’s drummer. However with that said, I’ve done quite a bit of work with Raleigh from a headline London show at Birthdays to the popular Wired live show and some festivals; Dot To Dot (Bristol and Nottingham) and Evolution Festival.

Raleigh Ritchie’s music is great to play live and a lot of his music is based around beats and rhythms so being solid, dynamic and expressive are the name of the game during a live set using a hybrid drum set up to trigger Electronic sounds to create a big, full and edgy sound.

Raleigh Ritchie is the stage name of Bristol-born Adulthood and Game of Thrones actor Jacob Anderson. His electronic-influenced R&B pop first gained recognition on the Adulthood soundtrack in 2008, where he recorded ‘I Need Love’ with British rapper Plan B. Soon after, he signed to Columbia Records and balanced his acting career with his blossoming musical repertoire.

Incorporating such diverse influences such as Erykah Badu, David Bowie, and Stevie Wonder, Raleigh’s first EP, ‘The Middle Child’ was released free to fans as a digital download in 2013. Raleigh’s notable performances in his role of Grey Worm in the hit TV series Game of Thrones enlarged his ever-growing audience, and his 2014 video for single ‘Stronger Than Ever’ from his second EP ‘Black & Blue’ got over 2 million views on YouTube.
